    who we are

    Mission Save a Smile

Mission Save a Smile was founded in 2017 as a 501(c)(3) all volunteer public charity. Working within indigenous communities lacking access to dental care, Mission Save a Smile's volunteer teams provide preventative and restorative dentistry. Our teams include dentists, oral surgeons and dental students. Spanish translators and supporting volunteers help with our preventative fluoride program, distribution of oral hygiene products, instrument sterilization, patient records and computer networking.

    why us

    Our Mission

    Preventative Care
Within the indigenous communities we serve dental decay is at epidemic proportions. With the strong link between oral health and systemic illnesses such as cardio vascular disease, diabetes and low birth weight babies, the importance of providing preventive and restorative care is critical in the communities we serve..

    Restorative Care
Many children suffer from decayed, abccessed and missing teeth. Mission Save a Smile sets up portable dental delivery operations to provide extractions, root canal therapy, tooth colored restorations and the replacing of missing teeth to improve quality of life, self esteem and social integration.
